Fresh Air lnlet Assembly

Many of the OSCA 1600 GT cars that were raced had components removed from the cars in the interest of saving weight and reducing air-induced drag.  One popular item to remove was the inlet on the passenger’s side inner fender liner that included a butterfly valve that was controlled by a wire cable with a knob located inside the car.   To restore the assembly requires some fabrication work and technical drawings of the original assembly.   This post includes dimensional drawings, photo’s and details to assist those who are struggling to recreate the correct inlet assembly and the male inlet that attaches to the firewall on the passenger’s side.
